Rep III Semester Highlights
Over the course of the fall semester, I explored a variety of software and experimented with representation on each of the platforms. Software that was used includes Twinmotion, Rhino, Grasshopper, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.

01
Project Methodology
When tasked to create a detail and site for my Representation III Final, I was inspired by both my previous project (The University of Arizona Cancer Center shade system) and items that I see every day. As seen in the "Site Methodology" diagram to the left, I scanned some of these significant items whose patterns intrigued me and played with their scale, size, and orientation in Rhino in order to create a site. After finalizing the site, I experimented with various organic shapes to create a detail to live in the site, which can be seen in the bottom two diagrams.
02
Representation

After finalizing the design for both the detail and site, I explored the connection between the two systems through sections, elevations, and plans, which can be seen to the right. Each of the renders were produced in V-Ray with rectangular lights, as seen in the drawing in the upper right hand corner.

03
Experience
When imagining an atmosphere for my site and detail, I visualized a space lightyears away; the craters created by the scanned objects, the color scheme of the environment, and the scale of the objects pointed to a world that I have only ever seen on TV and in textbooks.
Through renderings (right) and an video experience (linked below), I aimed to transport viewers into another world as they explore the site, detail, and surrounding environment.
